Terms of Use
Last updated: October 27, 2026
These terms apply to colorsnapai.com and the ColorSnapAI connector for AI assistants (together, "ColorSnapAI"), run by Hathaura Color. By using ColorSnapAI you agree to them.
What ColorSnapAI is
ColorSnapAI estimates your color season from a photo and suggests colors that may suit you. It's a free tool for inspiration and personal style. Results depend on your photo, lighting and camera, and color analysis involves personal judgment, so treat your result as a helpful starting point rather than a definitive assessment.
Using the tool
- Only upload photos of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to it.
- Don't misuse ColorSnapAI: for example, don't try to disrupt it, overload it with automated requests, or get around its rate limits or spam checks.
- You may use your results and palette images for personal, non-commercial purposes, including sharing them on social media.
AI assistant connector
AI assistants may use the connector at colorsnapai.com/mcp to look up palettes and estimate seasons for their users. Reasonable use is free. We may limit or block traffic that harms the service.
Products and links
ColorSnapAI links to paid color guides sold by Hathaura Color on Etsy and to Hathaura's software for stylists. Purchases are covered by the terms of the store you buy from.
No warranty
ColorSnapAI is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or accurate for every person.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Hathaura Color is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of ColorSnapAI, such as purchases you make based on a result. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Privacy
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short, your photo never leaves your device.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use ColorSnapAI after a change means you accept the updated terms.
